Welcome to Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention
We patrol the bridges and river of Limerick City.
Life is worth Living
About Us
We are a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 2018 dedicated to patrolling the river in Limerick during the night, offering support to individuals who may need someone to talk to. Our team is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment, where anyone feeling isolated or distressed can find a listening ear. We believe in the power of connection and understanding, and we are here to help you through difficult times. Your well-being matters to us, and we are just a conversation away when you need assistance.

Support our mission by contributing today.
Your support is absolutely vital to the work of Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention. Every day, we strive to provide care, understanding, and hope to those who are struggling with their mental health or experiencing suicidal thoughts. Our mission is simple yet urgent: to prevent suicide and to offer a lifeline to individuals and families in crisis.
We rely on the generosity of our community to make this mission possible. Your donations directly fund the resources and services that allow us to reach people when they need it most. Contributions help cover essential costs such as uniforms, jackets, and PFDs (personal flotation devices), ensuring our volunteers are equipped to respond safely and effectively. They also support our outreach efforts, awareness campaigns, training programs, and vital resources that connect individuals with the help and compassion they deserve.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. With your help, we can expand our efforts to raise awareness about suicide prevention, break down the stigma surrounding mental health, and provide support to those who may feel alone or without options. Your contribution gives us the tools to stand alongside people in their darkest moments, reminding them that they are not alone and that there is hope.
By donating today, you are not only supporting our volunteers and services—you are helping to create a safer, more caring, and more connected Limerick. Together, as a community, we can focus on building resilience, promoting well-being, and offering a beacon of hope to those who are struggling.
Thank you for considering a donation to Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention. With your support, we can continue this important work and make a lasting difference in the lives of many.
